I can hardly believe that this is it! This will be my last email home. To everyone who still reads these letters, thank you all for your support!! I love you all and I'm super grateful for each and everyone of you.
At the end of 2 years, my heart is full of gratitude. I've been blessed to serve and love some of the most amazing people. I've learned and grown a lot, but most importantly, my testimony has grown immensely. It certainly wasn't the easiest thing ever, but it was so worth it. Through everything that has happened I've learned a few simple, but very powerful, truths that won't ever change. They are:
- Our Heavenly Father loves each of His children equally.
- The Atonement of Jesus Christ is real. He lived and died to give us eternal life.
- Everyone can "come unto Christ and be perfected in Him." It doesn't matter where you are, He sees where you are going.
- Priesthood Authority and sealing power were restored by the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that my family is eternal.
- This is The Church of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon testifies boldly and clearly of that fact.
- The most important things in this life are also some of the most difficult. But they will always be worth it.
Because of my missionary service, many others had the chance to learn these wonderful truths for themselves. When I reflect on all of the lives that were changed through this experience, including mine, it makes me want to be a missionary forever! I love this work and I love Our Savior. He lives and He loves each and everyone of you.
I'd like to invite you all to make a list of the things you are most grateful for. Say a prayer of gratitude for all that we've been given. Then share it with someone you love. I can promise that you will see miracles as you do so.
